Who was San Cayetano?
San Cayetano de Thiene, born in Vicenza, Italy, in 1480, was a priest who dedicated his life to prayer, the study of Scriptures and the attention to the sick, especially those most needy. He is attributed to the foundation of the Order of Regular Clericans (Teatinos) together with Juan Pedro Carafa, with the aim of reforming ecclesiastical customs and promoting a more austere religious life.
