The Queen of Hearts is the main antagonist of Disney's 1951 animated feature film Alice in Wonderland. She is the tyrannical and deranged ruler of Wonderland with a sadistic penchant for beheadings. When Alice arrives in the kingdom and inadvertently humiliates the monarch, the Queen of Hearts becomes obsessed with decapitating the girl. . She is a childish, foul-tempered monarch whom Carroll himself describes as a blind fury, and who is quick to give death sentences at even the slightest of offenses.
