This is a fairly straightforward model, but for the best results, please consider the following print settings.
Supports: Yes, Required.Supports will be needed under the chin, arms, and the hilt of the katana.
CRITICAL ADVICE: Tree Supports (or Organic Supports) are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. They will be much easier to remove from the curved body and will help preserve the fine details of the suit and pouches with minimal scarring.
Layer Height: 0.12mm - 0.16mmA finer layer height is recommended to capture the smooth curves of the head and the details on the suit.
Infill: 15-20%This is sufficient for a display model and will give it a nice, solid feel.
Walls (Wall Line Count): 33 walls will ensure that smaller parts like the katana hilt are strong.
Plate Adhesion: BrimA brim is recommended to ensure the wide, circular base remains securely attached to the build plate and prevents any potential warping at the edges.
Painting Tip:For the classic Deadpool look, you can print the model in red filament and then hand-paint the black, silver, and brown sections with acrylic model paints. A final coat of matte or satin varnish will protect your paint job and give it a professional finish.
Happy printing!
