A dynamic bust of Ant‑Man (Scott Lang), featuring his detailed helmet, armored suit textures, and heroic pose. Ideal for Marvel fans, display pieces, dioramas, or collectibles. Designed to be watertight, properly manifold, and optimized to showcase both smooth surfaces and intricate mechanical details.
Printing Details:
Printer Type: FDM (filament printer) or Resin (SLA / DLP)
Layer Height / Resolution: ~0.1‑0.2 mm for FDM; 0.05‑0.1 mm for resin to bring out fine suit grooves and helmet details
Infill: 15‑30% (use gyroid or cubic for strength and internal support)
Walls / Shells: 2‑3 perimeters; reinforce helmet edges, visor, and thin plates
Supports: Required under helmet overhangs, chin, base of bust; small supports may also be needed under eaves of armor
Material: PLA or PETG for FDM; high‑detail or standard resin for resin printing
Build Plate Adhesion: Brim or raft if the base is small or irregular to prevent warping or lifting
Optional Hollowing & Drain Holes: For larger resin versions, hollowing with ~2‑3 mm wall thickness and adding drain holes helps reduce resin waste and curing problems
Orientation: Tilt slightly to minimize supports on flat facial surfaces; orient helmet visor upwards to avoid large support artifacts
Post‑Processing: Remove supports carefully, sand/primer/paint (helmet metallics, visor transparency, suit accents); resin prints need washing & curing
