DESCRIPTION

In the drowned trenches beneath Aevaris, sailors speak of a creature that never travels alone, even when it is one body. They call it the Triarch Reef Stalker because each head seems to think separately, turning in different directions as if three minds are sharing a single hunt. When it rises from black water or broken coral, the first sign is the clicking of too many legs on stone. The second is silence, because everything nearby has already gone still.

Core Faction: The TidewalkersLore snippet: The Triarch Reef Stalker is said to patrol forgotten ruins below the tide line, where old prophecies were carved into shell and basalt long before the surface kingdoms learned to name the sea.

This model depicts a three-headed alien crustacean with a long segmented body, armored shell plates, and multiple hooked legs arranged in a dense, predatory stance. The front head is larger and more dominant, with bulbous eyes, mandible-like mouthparts, and hanging tendrils that give the creature a hostile, probing look. The rear heads reinforce the idea of a fused colony organism, each with its own facial structure and limb arrangement, making the silhouette unusual from every angle.

The body surface combines hard shell geometry with organic tissue transitions. Angular dorsal plates run along the spine, while softer membranes and ridged joints appear between leg segments and around the neck structures. The many limbs create a strong tabletop presence and help the creature feel unstable in a good way, like something built for reef ambushes, trench crawling, or alien brood behavior. It works well as a boss monster, a deep-sea horror, a sci-fi arthropod, or a display creature for collectors who like unsettling anatomy.

This model is based on an original concept and design. The initial 3D form was generated with the assistance of AI tools, after which it was extensively refined and manually detailed in Blender and other 3D editing software. This workflow ensures the figure maintains its unique character and meets the standards of precision, structure, and print-readiness required for high-quality 3D printing.

Please note that the model is primarily designed for textured versions (OBJ + MTL in ZIP archive), allowing for a rich and visually detailed result when used with color-supported 3D printing or digital rendering. The non-textured version (STL, 3MF) may lack some surface details visible in the textured formats.

Technical features and printing recommendations

Recommended print technology

Resin printers are best for preserving mandibles, tendrils, shell seams, and thin leg details.

FDM printers can handle it at larger scale, with careful support settings and slower outer walls.

Suggested resin settings

Layer height: 0.03–0.05 mm

Orientation: tilt 20–30° to reduce suction and protect the front head and underside

Supports: medium supports under legs, mouth tendrils, underside plates, and rear limb clusters

Hollowing: 2–3 mm wall thickness if scaled large, with drain holes hidden under the belly

Suggested FDM settings

Layer height: 0.12–0.16 mm with a 0.4 mm nozzle

Walls: 3 perimeters, infill 12–18%

Supports: required for legs, tendrils, and deep gaps between body segments

Material: PLA for easier printing, PETG for stronger limbs

Recommended size and print estimates

Recommended length: 120–180 mm for tabletop use, or 220–280 mm for display

Supports: required

Minimum print time: 480 minutes

Material estimate at about 160 mm length: Resin 120–190 g or Filament 140–220 g, depending on hollowing and infill

Scaling Note: This model is designed in millimeters (mm). If it appears too small when imported into your slicer, ensure your software is set to mm units. If needed, scale the model up 100x if the slicer defaults to meters instead.
