semi-automatic pistols produced by the Japanese company Koishikawa Arsenal later known as the Tokyo Artillery Arsenal. The series had five variants, the Type A Model 1902 (also called the Grandpa Nambu), the Type A Model 1902 Modified (also known as the Papa Nambu), the Type B (also known as the Baby Nambu), the Type 14 (南部十四年式自動拳銃) and the Type 94.\nThe pistols were designed by Kijiro Nambu and saw extensive service during the Second Sino-Japanese War and World War II. The Type A was made in very small numbers. Type A Modified and Type B Nambus were never formally adopted by any branch of the armed forces of Imperial Japan but were sold to officers through officer stores. The Type 14 was adopted as an official sidearm.\nAs World War II progressed, and particularly in the final year of the war, in order to speed production, Type 14s began to be more hastily manufactured with a subsequent decline in quality.\n\n\nThe origin of the Nambu pistol series goes back to a design by Lieutenant General Kijiro Nambu.General Nambu claimed the design originated with experimentation during the \"30 year Automatic Pistol Plan\" of 1897 in Japan. It is probable that the pistol series was influenced by the Mauser C96, after a Japanese commission toured Europe and reported recent developments. The first Nambu type known as the Type A was completed in 1902. The Type A underwent trials with the Imperial Japanese Army but was never formally adopted. Many Original Type As were sold commercially to China and Siam. Coinciding with British customs, Japanese army officers were expected to purchase their own side arms. The Nambu Type A Modified pistol was adopted by the Imperial Japanese Navy in 1909 and the Thai Army in the 1920s.\nMost of the Type A Modified and Type B Nambu pistols were produced by the Tokyo Arsenal with a few pistols being produced by the Tokyo Gas and Electric Company.[1] The Type 14 Nambu was produced by the Nagoya Arsenal in either Nagoya's Atsuta or Toriimatsu factories","imageAlt":"3D model Nambu Type 14","url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/nambu-type-14-fc7df5b7-8664-4333-a007-43a4fe813d22","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":true,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/wk7UWVUBb6n5b94m4nME73kp/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/Nambu%20Type%2014.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/wk7UWVUBb6n5b94m4nME73kp/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/Nambu%20Type%2014.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/nambu-type-14-fc7df5b7-8664-4333-a007-43a4fe813d22","isCgtVerified":false,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":false,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":false}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":12,"name":".obj","is_native":false},{"id":72,"name":".stp","is_native":false},{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false},{"id":29,"name":".ige","is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"military","subcategorySlug":"gun","categoryTitle":"Military","subcategoryTitle":"Gun","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/2322892/c10cae3f77/nambu-type-14-3d-model-c10cae3f77.webp","saleOffDiscount":30,"eligibleForSubscription":false,"subscriptionSubscribed":false,"subscriptionPotential":false}},{"id":"3750051","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":3750051,"title":"Walther PPK","price":40.0,"description":"Full assembled model of German pistol Walther PPK and its 7,65 mm bullet.\n\nModel is good for weapon mechanic animation, games and for visual education.\n\nNotification: if You need low poly model You can contact me here or : all_world_weapons@mail.ru\n\nThe Walther PP (German: Polizeipistole, or police pistol) series pistols are blowback-operated semi-automatic pistols, developed by the German arms manufacturer Carl Walther GmbH Sportwaffen.\nIt features an exposed hammer, a traditional double-action trigger mechanism, a single-column magazine, and a fixed barrel that also acts as the guide rod for the recoil spring. The series includes the Walther PP, PPK, PPK/S, and PPK/E models. The Walther TPH pocket pistol is a smaller calibre pistol introduced in 1971 identical in handling and operation to the PPK. \n\nThe most common variant is the Walther PPK, a smaller version of the PP with a shorter grip, barrel and frame, and reduced magazine capacity. A new, two-piece wrap-around grip panel construction was used to conceal the exposed back strap. The smaller size made it more concealable than the original PP and hence better suited to plain-clothes or undercover work. It was released in 1931. \"PPK\" is an abbreviation for Polizeipistole Kriminal (literally \"police pistol criminal\"), referring to the Kriminalamt crime investigation office. While the K is often mistakenly assumed to stand for kurz (German for \"short\"), as the variant has a shorter barrel and frame, Walther used the name \"Kriminal\" in early advertising brochures and the 1937 GECO German catalog. The PPK saw widespread use. Adolf Hitler killed himself with his PPK (.32 ACP/7.65mm) in the Führerbunker in Berlin. A Walther PPK .32 (gun number 159270) was used by Kim Jae-gyu to kill South Korean leader Park Chung-hee. The fictional secret agent James Bond used a Walther PPK in many of the novels and films: Ian Fleming's choice of Bond's weapon directly influenced the popularity and notoriety of the PPK. Fleming had given Bond a .25 Beretta 418 pistol in early novels, but switched to the PPK in Dr. No (1958) on the advice of firearms expert Geoffrey Boothroyd. Although referred to as a PPK in the film adaption of 1962, the actual gun carried by actor Sean Connery was a Walther PP. Actor Jack Lord, who played Felix Leiter in Dr. No, was presented with a gold-plated PPK with ivory handgrips, given to him by his friend Elvis Presley. Presley himself owned a silver-finish PPK, inscribed \"TCB\" (\"taking care of business\").","imageAlt":null,"url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/walther-ppk-4d9c07a6-acd9-4de2-97b6-c32256d68904","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":true,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/C4zBmMDxBi7AsHmHgUfxpn3g/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/PPK.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/C4zBmMDxBi7AsHmHgUfxpn3g/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/PPK.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/walther-ppk-4d9c07a6-acd9-4de2-97b6-c32256d68904","isCgtVerified":false,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":false,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":false}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false},{"id":72,"name":".stp","is_native":false},{"id":12,"name":".obj","is_native":false},{"id":29,"name":".ige","is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"military","subcategorySlug":"gun","categoryTitle":"Military","subcategoryTitle":"Gun","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/3750051/38cd4e4dbb/walther-ppk-3d-model-38cd4e4dbb.webp","saleOffDiscount":30,"eligibleForSubscription":false,"subscriptionSubscribed":false,"subscriptionPotential":false}},{"id":"3341804","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":3341804,"title":"Colt 1911","price":40.0,"description":"Full assembled model of American pistol and its 45 ACP bullet.\n\nModel is good for weapon mechanic animation, games and for visual education.\n\nNotification: if You need low poly model You can contact me here : 27608166@mail.ru\n\nThe M1911, also known as the Colt 1911, or the Colt Government, is a single-action, semi-automatic, magazine-fed, recoil-operated pistol chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge. The pistol's formal designation as of 1940 was Automatic Pistol, Caliber .45, M1911 for the original model of 1911 or Automatic Pistol, Caliber .45, M1911A1 for the M1911A1, which was adopted in 1924. The designation changed to Pistol, Caliber .45, Automatic, M1911A1 in the Vietnam War era.\nDesigned by John Browning, the M1911 is the best-known of his designs to use the short recoil principle in its basic design. The pistol was widely copied, and this operating system rose to become the preeminent type of the 20th century and of nearly all modern centerfire pistols. It is popular with civilian shooters in competitive events such as USPSA, IDPA, International Practical Shooting Confederation, and bullseye shooting. Compact variants are popular civilian concealed carry weapons in the U.S. because of the design's relatively slim width and the stopping power of the .45 ACP cartridge.\nThe U.S. military procured around 2.7 million M1911 and M1911A1 pistols during its service life. The pistol served as the standard-issue sidearm for the United States Armed Forces from 1911 to 1985. It was widely used in World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. The M1911A1 was replaced by the adoption of the 9 mm Beretta M9 pistol as the standard U.S. military sidearm in 1985. However, the U.S. Army did not replace the M1911A1 with the Beretta M9 until October 1986, and due to the M1911's popularity among users has not been completely phased out. Modernized derivative variants of the M1911 are still in use by some units of the U.S. Army Special Forces, U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Navy. \n\n","imageAlt":"Colt 1911 3D modern","url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/colt-1911-1024e68a-6aaf-4554-8a37-f2f722e311d9","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":true,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/LNRznoAZ9GfXZh6WQJFZ56DB/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/M1911%2825%29.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/LNRznoAZ9GfXZh6WQJFZ56DB/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/M1911%2825%29.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/colt-1911-1024e68a-6aaf-4554-8a37-f2f722e311d9","isCgtVerified":false,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":false,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":false}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":12,"name":".obj","is_native":false},{"id":29,"name":".ige","is_native":false},{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false},{"id":72,"name":".stp","is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"military","subcategorySlug":"gun","categoryTitle":"Military","subcategoryTitle":"Gun","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/3341804/dbada1f086/colt-1911-3d-model-dbada1f086.webp","saleOffDiscount":30,"eligibleForSubscription":false,"subscriptionSubscribed":false,"subscriptionPotential":false}},{"id":"3406526","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":3406526,"title":"Borchardt C93","price":40.0,"description":"Full assembled model of German pistol and its 7,65x25mm bullet.\n\nModel is good for weapon mechanic animation, games , for visual education.\n\nFor more information contact me here all_world_weapons@mail.ru\n\nThe Borchardt C93 is a semi-automatic pistol designed by Hugo Borchardt in 1893.\nThe design is based upon the Maxim gun (toggle bolt) model.\nBorchardt developed the high-velocity, bottlenecked 7.65×25mm Borchardt cartridge for the C93. His assistant at the time, Georg Luger, also claimed to have influenced its design. Machine tool manufacturer Ludwig Loewe \u0026 Company of Berlin, Germany, produced the C93 in anticipation of military orders. With about 1,100 manufactured by Loewe and nearly 2,000 more produced by Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken. The Borchardt C93 was the first mass-produced semi-automatic pistol.\n\nThe pistol used a toggle lock system, which meant that when the gun fired, a two-piece arm rose and flexed as the gun recoiled, thus allowing the breech to unlock and release the empty cartridge case.\nDWM employed Georg Luger to promote the Borchardt pistol in military and commercial channels. The pistol was tested by the U.S. Navy as early as 1894 and later by the U.S. Army. Although it was accurate and its rate of fire was rapid, the Borchardt pistol was expensive to produce and unwieldy to handle due to its almost vertical grip and distribution of weight. Furthermore, its recoil was unexpectedly powerful. These criticisms were noted in the Swiss Army field tests. However, Borchardt refused to make any changes to his original design. DWM then appointed Georg Luger to make the requested improvements to the pistol. Luger took the Borchardt design, using the shorter 7.65×21mm Parabellum cartridge, which allowed him to incorporate a shorter stroke of the toggle mechanism and a narrower, angular grip. Luger's design eventually became the Luger Parabellum pistol.\nThe cartridge used in the Borchardt C93 Pistol was the basis for the primary cartridge used in the Mauser C96 pistol (7.63×25mm Mauser); they have the same dimensions, but the 7.63 mm Mauser generally had a more powerful powder charge (contemporary loading data indicated it took approximately 20% more powder than the Borchardt) and is considered to be too strong to be used in a Borchardt C93. Nonetheless, cartridge boxes from some manufacturers were marked \"For Borchardt and Mauser Automatic Pistols.\"\nThe Borchardt C93 was manufactured and sold solely in its proprietary caliber, the 7.65×25mm Borchardt. Some test models were made in 7.65×21mm Parabellum and 9×18mm Borchardt, an experimental bottlenecked cartridge developed in 1902. It was intended to replace the costly Luger P08, the production of which was scheduled to end in 1942. The first designs submitted to the German Army featured a locked breech and a hidden hammer, but the Heer (German Army) requested that it be redesigned with an external hammer. The P38 concept was accepted by the German military in 1938 but production of prototype (Test) pistols did not begin until late 1939. Walther began manufacture at their plant in Zella-Mehlis and produced three series of Test pistols, designated by a 0 prefix to the serial number. The third series pistols satisfactorily solved the previous problems for the Heer and mass production began in mid-1940, using Walther's military production identification code 480. After a few thousand pistols the Heer changed all codes from numbers to letters and Walther was given the ac code.[citation needed] Several experimental versions were later created in .45 ACP, and .38 Super, but these were never mass-produced. This P08 variation was equipped with a 200 mm (7.9 in) barrel, an 8-position tangent rear sight (calibrated to 800 meters (870 yd)) and a board-type shoulder stock with an attached leather holster. In the event of close combat, the pistol was intended to be used as a carbine with the shoulder stock attached to a lug mounted on the heel of the pistol frame. When set for long range use the rear sight element visibly moves to the left to compensate for spin drift. While initially intended for use by German artillery units who could not be encumbered by the long and heavy K.98 rifle, the LP 08 was also used by Aviation units (prior to equipping aircraft with machine guns) as well as the Infantry, primarily on the Western front during World War I. The famous infantry Stoßtruppen or Stormtrooper units frequently employed the Artillery Luger equipped with a new large magazine – the 32-round Trommelmagazin or 'snail' magazine. Production of the LP 08 ended in 1918 with the end of the war. By that time, German troops had begun using the newly developed MP 18 submachine gun in place of the LP 08 for their stormtroop assault companies. However, by this time enough LP 08 barrels had been manufactured and stockpiled to fill LP 08 export orders into the 1930s.\n\nCarbine versions of the LP 08 were also produced commercially, with yet longer barrels. The firm Armeria Belga of Santiago (Chile) also manufactured a detachable stock, the Benke Thiemann stock, that could fold out from the grip section.\n\nIn the early 1920s, carbine production was restarted, with barrels up to 600mm (24 in) long. Under a small contract, LP 08 or Artillery P08s were assembled in the 1930s to fill an order from the Shah of Iran for his artillery troops, with some of these weapons ending up with Thai police forces. Existing LP 08 pistols which had remained in storage were re-issued in WWII with new-production board stocks for some German units such as artillerymen and Waffen SS units, and these continued in use until the end of the war in 1945.","imageAlt":"Luger P-08 Artillery 3D model weapon","url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/luger-p-08-artillery-b3575ffd-6b29-4557-8f1f-e28692283e1d","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":true,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/kVx3eNWzTGfhBN4TwStTonzX/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/Luger%20P-08%20Artilery.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/kVx3eNWzTGfhBN4TwStTonzX/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/Luger%20P-08%20Artilery.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/luger-p-08-artillery-b3575ffd-6b29-4557-8f1f-e28692283e1d","isCgtVerified":false,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":false,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":false}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":29,"name":".ige","is_native":false},{"id":12,"name":".obj","is_native":false},{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false},{"id":72,"name":".stp","is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"military","subcategorySlug":"gun","categoryTitle":"Military","subcategoryTitle":"Gun","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/2205485/406ff0e1d2/luger-p-08-artillery-3d-model-406ff0e1d2.webp","saleOffDiscount":30,"eligibleForSubscription":false,"subscriptionSubscribed":false,"subscriptionPotential":false}},{"id":"2452832","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":2452832,"title":"Walrher P38K","price":40.0,"description":"Full assembled model of German pistol Walther P38K and its 9mm Parabellum bullet.\n\nModel is good for weapon mechanic animation, games and for visual education.\n\nNotification: if You need low poly model You can contact me here or : 27608166@mail.ru\n\nThe Walther P38 (originally written Walther P.38) is a 9 mm semi-automatic pistol that was developed by Carl Walther GmbH as the service pistol of the Wehrmacht at the beginning of World War II. It was intended to replace the costly Luger P08, the production of which was scheduled to end in 1942.\nThe first designs submitted to the German Army featured a locked breech and a hidden hammer, but the Heer (German Army) requested that it be redesigned with an external hammer.\nThe P38 concept was accepted by the German military in 1938 but production of prototype (\"Test\") pistols did not begin until late 1939. Walther began manufacture at their plant in Zella-Mehlis and produced three series of \"Test\" pistols, designated by a \"0\" prefix to the serial number. The third series pistols satisfactorily solved the previous problems for the Heer and mass production began in mid-1940, using Walther's military production identification code \"480\".
