M4A3 was first delivered by the Ford Motor Company in June 1942, alone delivering 1690 machines by September 1943. It was produced to a total of 5015 by all manufacturers combined. Early versions still had the dry ammunition stowage, direct vision slots for the driver and the 60-degree hull glacis (89 mm/3.5 in). The 3071 next had wet ammo stowage and a newer commander cupola.\n\nMost of all, it featured the new liquid-cooled Ford V8 500 hp engine, which was capable of giving a top speed of 42 km/h on road (26 mph), and a 209 km (130 mi) range. The suspension was the unchanged VVSS, but the transmission was now protected by a one-piece cast steel armored cover. Driver vision slots were augmented by bullet-proof glass and protective covers. Mid-production they also saw the adoption of duckbills, extended end connectors for the tracks, which improved the grip on soft terrains. Early series also saw extra 25 mm (1 in) thick applique armor welded over the ammo storage bins and the turret gunner position, later removed. By 1943-44, the recognition white stars were usually painted black or olive drab in order to mask them to enemy gunners, which used them as an aiming point.\"\n\n","imageAlt":"Low Poly M4A3 Sherman Medium Tank 3D asset VR / AR ready","url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/military-vehicle/low-poly-m4a3-sherman-medium-tank","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":false,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/hC1jWnk1N6ucUsvTfLpm4U8Y/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/low-poly-m4a3-sherman-medium-tank-3d-model-low-poly-obj-mtl-3ds-fbx.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/hC1jWnk1N6ucUsvTfLpm4U8Y/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/low-poly-m4a3-sherman-medium-tank-3d-model-low-poly-obj-mtl-3ds-fbx.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/military-vehicle/low-poly-m4a3-sherman-medium-tank","isCgtVerified":false,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":false,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":true}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false},{"id":null,"name":null,"is_native":false},{"id":12,"name":".obj","is_native":false},{"id":2,"name":".3ds","is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"military","subcategorySlug":"military-vehicle","categoryTitle":"Military","subcategoryTitle":"Vehicle","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/1027726/4756cf353a/low-poly-m4a3-sherman-medium-tank-3d-model-4756cf353a.webp","saleOffDiscount":0,"eligibleForSubscription":false,"subscriptionSubscribed":false,"subscriptionPotential":false}},{"id":"994390","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":994390,"title":"Low Poly Willys MB","price":15.0,"description":" **Low Poly model of U.S. WW2 Willys MB Truck . It has all the characteristics of a mechanized legend, with few competitors worldwide, except, perhaps, for the German Volkswagen Beetle and its Kübelwagen derivatice. In 1991 it was labelled an “International Historic Mechanical Engineering Landmark” by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. In postwar years, the Jeep inspired the civilian 4×4 concept, and was copied all around the world, with nearly a million built, by 1968, in the USA alone.\" \"The Willys MB was the mass-production version, modified according to army field operation reports and simplifications in design. The most obvious change was the front radiator grille. It was, for the 25,000 initial deliveries, a welded flat iron “slat”, later replaced by the familiar and simpler stamped, slotted steel grille, originally a Ford design. According to factory designation, this model was renamed “B” (MB). Eventually, Willys will produce 361,339 Jeeps until the end of the war, including 25,808 of the slat radiator grille model, and 335,531 with the stamped steel grille. The tank was named after General of the Armies John J. Pershing, who led the American Expeditionary Force in Europe in World War I. It was used in the last months of World War II during the Invasion of Germany and extensively during the Korean War.\n\nIntended as a replacement of the M4 Sherman,a prolonged development period meant that only a small number saw combat in Europe, notably in the 9th Armored Division's dash to take the Ludendorff Bridge during the Battle of Remagen. Based on the criteria of firepower, mobility, and protection, American historian R. P. Hunnicutt ranked the Pershing behind the German Panther medium tank, but ahead of the Tiger I heavy tank.[2] In service during the Korean War, the M26 had better firepower and protection than the T-34-85, but struggled in the hilly and muddy terrain. It was withdrawn in 1951 in favor of its improved derivative, the M46 Patton, which had a more powerful and reliable engine and advanced suspension better able to handle the terrain.[3] The lineage of the M26 continued with the M47 Patton, and was reflected in the new designs of the later M48 Patton and M60 Patton.\"_","imageAlt":"3D model Low Poly M26 Pershing Medium Tank","url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/military-vehicle/low-poly-m26-pershing-medium-tank","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":false,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/tejeCFRMpp9Lkbu8MiZ8S5W8/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/M26_Pershing_Title.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/tejeCFRMpp9Lkbu8MiZ8S5W8/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/M26_Pershing_Title.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/military-vehicle/low-poly-m26-pershing-medium-tank","isCgtVerified":false,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":false,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":true}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":11,"name":".ma","is_native":true},{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false},{"id":25,"name":".dae","is_native":false},{"id":12,"name":".obj","is_native":false},{"id":51,"name":".stl","is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"military","subcategorySlug":"military-vehicle","categoryTitle":"Military","subcategoryTitle":"Vehicle","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/2329107/f0b90a8d12/low-poly-m26-pershing-medium-tank-3d-model-f0b90a8d12.webp","saleOffDiscount":0,"eligibleForSubscription":false,"subscriptionSubscribed":false,"subscriptionPotential":false}},{"id":"857817","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":857817,"title":"Low Poly M5A1 Stuart light tank","price":15.0,"description":"**Low Poly model of United States WW2 M5A1 Stuart light tank.**\n\nModel contains real details and proportions. 2048x2048 textures included: -Color maps -psd (AO, decals on separated layers, specular on Alpha channel) 2k,1k (wheels) -Normal maps 2k,1k -Emission map for lights . The turret itself helps to distinguish between the early and later models, as on the early models, there were still pistol ports in the side walls. The extra bustle provided room for the more powerful SCR 508 radio and antenna mounted at the extreme rear. To avoid interference with it, the cal.30 (7.62 mm) pintle mount had to be shifted from the back plate to the right hand side turret wall. Because of this, it could only be fired by one of the crew -often the commander- from inside the turret, a considerable advantage for protection. But the cal.30 (7.62 mm) had been woefully criticized in action as being totally inefficient against the fast-flying aircraft of 1942-43. On the M24 Chaffee, only a cal.50 (12.7 mm) was retained. However, this mount received some shielding on later production version. There was a removable plate on the rear wall of the bustle, for easy extraction of the M6 37 mm (1.46 in) rounds. The side pistol ports were first redesigned, then eliminated, and earlier models had theirs removed and the opening welded shut. Also, particular to the M5A1 was the escape hatch added under the assistant driver’s seat. The hull and turret in general received better watertight sealing.\"","imageAlt":"game 3D model Low Poly M5A1 Stuart light tank","url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/military-vehicle/low-poly-m5a1-stuart-light-tank","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":false,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/j2TY4tFfpzYCKE9reXTmMX8d/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/low-poly-m5a1-stuart-light-tank-3d-model-low-poly-obj-mtl-fbx-ma-mb.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/j2TY4tFfpzYCKE9reXTmMX8d/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/low-poly-m5a1-stuart-light-tank-3d-model-low-poly-obj-mtl-fbx-ma-mb.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/military-vehicle/low-poly-m5a1-stuart-light-tank","isCgtVerified":false,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":false,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":true}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":11,"name":".ma","is_native":true},{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false},{"id":12,"name":".obj","is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"military","subcategorySlug":"military-vehicle","categoryTitle":"Military","subcategoryTitle":"Vehicle","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/857817/9ca651d43f/low-poly-m5a1-stuart-light-tank-3d-model-9ca651d43f.webp","saleOffDiscount":0,"eligibleForSubscription":false,"subscriptionSubscribed":false,"subscriptionPotential":false}},{"id":"862581","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":862581,"title":"Low Poly M3A1 Half-track Personnel Carrier","price":15.0,"description":"**Lowpoly Model of WW2 M3A1 Halftrack USA Armoured Personnel Carrier**\n\nModel contains real details and proportions. It was based on the US M4 Sherman, but fitted with the powerful 3-inch (76.2 mm) calibre British 17-pounder anti-tank gun as its main weapon. Originally conceived as a stopgap until future British tank designs came into service, the Sherman Firefly became the most common vehicle mounting the 17-pounder in the war.\n\nThough the British expected to have their own new tank models developed soon, the previously rejected idea of mounting the 17-pounder in the existing Sherman was eventually accepted, despite initial government resistance. This proved fortunate, as both the Cruiser Mk VIII Challenger and Cruiser Mk VIII Cromwell tank designs experienced difficulties and delays.\n\nAfter the difficult problem of getting such a large gun to fit in the Sherman's turret was solved, the Firefly was put into production in early 1944, in time to equip Field Marshal Montgomery's 21st Army Group for the Normandy landings. It soon became highly valued, as its gun could almost always penetrate the armour of the Panther and Tiger tanks it faced in Normandy.[citation needed] In recognition of this, German tank and anti-tank gun crews were instructed to attack Fireflies first.[citation needed] Because the Firefly had a visibly longer barrel, crews tried to camouflage it so the tank would look like a normal 75 mm-gun Sherman from a distance. Between 2,100 and 2,200 were manufactured before production wound down in 1945.\"","imageAlt":"Low Poly M4A4 Sherman Firefly medium 3D asset","url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/vehicle/military-vehicle/low-poly-m4a4-sherman-firefly-medium-tank","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":false,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/qSTdiNuVbKgqYttSKjVBS64s/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/low-poly-m4a4-sherman-firefly-medium-tank-3d-model-low-poly-obj-mtl-fbx-ma-mb.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/qSTdiNuVbKgqYttSKjVBS64s/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/low-poly-m4a4-sherman-firefly-medium-tank-3d-model-low-poly-obj-mtl-fbx-ma-mb.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/vehicle/military-vehicle/low-poly-m4a4-sherman-firefly-medium-tank","isCgtVerified":false,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":false,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":true}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":11,"name":".ma","is_native":true},{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false},{"id":12,"name":".obj","is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"vehicle","subcategorySlug":"military-vehicle","categoryTitle":"Vehicle","subcategoryTitle":"Military","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/1861579/72cba93d1d/low-poly-m4a4-sherman-firefly-medium-tank-3d-model-72cba93d1d.webp","saleOffDiscount":0,"eligibleForSubscription":false,"subscriptionSubscribed":false,"subscriptionPotential":false}},{"id":"1030570","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":1030570,"title":"Low Poly M24 Chaffe light tank","price":15.0,"description":" **Low Poly model of USA WW2 M24 Chaffee light tank.**\n\nModel contains real details and proportions. \n2048x2048 textures included: \n-Color maps -psd (AO, decals on separated layers, specular on Alpha channel) 2k,1k (wheels) \n-Normal maps 2k,1k \n. Limited storage space meant that only 10 projectiles and propellant charges could be carried on the vehicle. An earth spade (similar to a bulldozer blade) at the rear was employed to absorb recoil. After US entry into World War II and the formation of the Tank Destroyer Force, a suitable vehicle was needed to equip the new battalions. By November 1941, the Army requested a vehicle with a gun in a fully rotating turret after other interim models were criticized for being too poorly designed. The prototype of the M10 was conceived in early 1942, being delivered in April of that year. After appropriate changes to the hull and turret were made, the modified version was selected for production in June 1943 as the 3-inch Gun Motor Carriage M10. It mounted a 3-inch (76.2 mm) Gun M7 in a rotating turret on a modified M4A2 Sherman tank chassis. An alternate model, the M10A1, which used the chassis of an M4A3 Sherman tank, was also produced. Production of the two models ran from September 1942 to December 1943 and October 1942 to November 1943, respectively.\" \"In US service, the first engagements of M10 Wolverine came in early 1943, in Tunisia. Although in short supply, they proved quite up to the task against any German tanks, including the latest evolution of the Panzer IV. On flat ground, they were fast enough and able to maneuver around enemy tanks with ease. Their open-top turret was a problem in specific urban and heavily forested environments, and also because of shrapnel and grenades. But the crews loved it anyway, because observation was easier, both to spot enemy tanks and to fire, they could communicate more easily with the infantry, and in case their tank was disabled, they could escape quite quickly, compared to the Sherman and other Allied tanks. There was a waterproof canvas, which could be deployed on top of this open space. In general, the open-top turret was not seen as a problem since US Army doctrine of use in close support included infantry walking alongside the vehicles to counter enemy infantry tactics.\"**","imageAlt":"Low Poly M10 Wolverine tank destroyer 3D asset","url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/military-vehicle/low-a3224802-307e-4521-91dd-6247055c4f4b","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":false,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/s7iTrgqXHa13r3SCbRTh1Y8o/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/low-poly-m10-wolverine-tank-destroyer-3d-model-low-poly-fbx-ma-mb.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/s7iTrgqXHa13r3SCbRTh1Y8o/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/low-poly-m10-wolverine-tank-destroyer-3d-model-low-poly-fbx-ma-mb.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/military-vehicle/low-a3224802-307e-4521-91dd-6247055c4f4b","isCgtVerified":false,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":false,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":true}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":11,"name":".ma","is_native":true},{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"military","subcategorySlug":"military-vehicle","categoryTitle":"Military","subcategoryTitle":"Vehicle","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/850470/04947e7f24/low-poly-m10-wolverine-tank-destroyer-3d-model-04947e7f24.webp","saleOffDiscount":0,"eligibleForSubscription":false,"subscriptionSubscribed":false,"subscriptionPotential":false}},{"id":"856958","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":856958,"title":"Low Poly M3 Lee medium tank","price":15.0,"description":" **Low Poly model of United States WW2 M3 Lee medium tank.
