The Broken Spout of Thutmosis III","price":99.0,"description":"**Dimensions : height 21cm / width 40cm / lenght 67cm**\n\nThutmose III (variously also spelt Tuthmosis or Thothmes) was the sixth pharaoh of the Eighteenth Dynasty. Officially, Thutmose III ruled Egypt for almost 54 years and his reign is usually dated from 28 April 1479 BC to 11 March 1425 BC, from the age of two and until his death at age fifty-six; however, during the first 22 years of his reign, he was coregent with his stepmother and aunt, Hatshepsut, who was named the pharaoh. While he was shown first on surviving monuments, both were assigned the usual royal names and insignia and neither is given any obvious seniority over the other. Thutmose served as the head of Hatshepsut's armies. During the final two years of his reign, he appointed his son and successor, Amenhotep II, as his junior co-regent. His firstborn son and heir to the throne, Amenemhat, predeceased Thutmose III.\n\nBecoming the sole ruling pharaoh of the kingdom after the deaths of Thutmose II and Hatshepsut, he created the largest empire Egypt had ever seen; no fewer than 17 campaigns were conducted and he conquered lands from the Niya Kingdom in northern Syria to the Fourth Cataract of the Nile in Nubia.\n\nWhen Thutmose III died, he was buried in the Valley of the Kings, as were the rest of the kings from this period in Egypt.","imageAlt":"Egyptian - The Broken Spout of Thutmosis III 3D","url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/scanned/various/egyptian-the-broken-spout-of-thutmosis-iii","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":false,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/AqBuEYhuAadxzA84CbvCwp56/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/BROKEN_SPOUT_OF_THUMOSIS_III0010.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/AqBuEYhuAadxzA84CbvCwp56/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/BROKEN_SPOUT_OF_THUMOSIS_III0010.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/scanned/various/egyptian-the-broken-spout-of-thutmosis-iii","isCgtVerified":false,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":true,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":false}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":51,"name":".stl","is_native":false},{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false},{"id":2,"name":".3ds","is_native":false},{"id":188,"name":".wrl","is_native":false},{"id":117,"name":".gltf","is_native":false},{"id":12,"name":".obj","is_native":false},{"id":7,"name":".dxf","is_native":false},{"id":null,"name":null,"is_native":false},{"id":189,"name":".ply","is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"scanned","subcategorySlug":"various","categoryTitle":"Scanned 3D Models","subcategoryTitle":"Various","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/3148492/247ced60ef/egyptian-the-broken-spout-of-thutmosis-iii-3d-model-247ced60ef.webp","saleOffDiscount":0,"eligibleForSubscription":false,"subscriptionSubscribed":false,"subscriptionPotential":false}},{"id":"2998292","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":2998292,"title":"EGYPTIAN - ZODIAC OF DENDERAH","price":99.0,"description":"\nAt Denderah, 60 kilometers north of Luxor, stands a grand temple dedicated to the goddesses Hathor and Isis. She is most often depicted as a young woman wearing a throne or, like Hathor, a wig topped by a sun disk inserted between two cow horns.\n\nThe cunning Isis is one of the deities of the Ennead of Heliopolis. She is the sister and wife of King Osiris, a generous being who placed his reign under the sign of cosmic harmony. This happy time comes to an abrupt end when Osiris is murdered in a plot organised by his brother Set, a violent and jealous god. Isis finds the body of Osiris and hides it in the swamps of Chemnis. During a hunting trip, Set finds the corpse and, mad with anger, cuts it into several pieces. During a long quest, Isis, assisted by Nephthys, Thoth and Anubis, finds the disjointed limbs and reconstitutes the body of Osiris by mummifying it. After reviving Osiris, Isis makes him the eternal ruler of the Dourat, a heavenly world populated by immortal spirits. To ensure his protection, she places him under the attentive care of the dog god Anubis, her adopted son.\n\nIsis, in the form of a bird of prey, unites with the mummy of her husband and conceives Horus. Raised in the marshes of Chemnis and fortified by Isis' mother's milk, Horus reaches adulthood. For many decades Horus and Isis fought against Set, supported by Ra, who was reluctant towards Horus. After many ups and downs, Horus succeeds in being recognised as the legitimate successor of his father, thus becoming the model of the ideal pharaoh.\n\nThe cult of Isis appeared at the end of the Old Kingdom, around the xxiv century BC. Initially confined to the funerary domain, Isis became, during the first millennium BC, a very popular goddess with universal power. The devotion of the Ptolemaic pharaohs endowed the goddess Isis with two grandiose places of worship; Isum in Lower Egypt and Phileas in Nubia. Between the end of the fourth century BC and the end of the fourth century AD, the cult of Isis spread throughout the Mediterranean basin and a large number of sanctuaries were built for her in Greece and Italy. In these new places, a syncretism took place in which the Egyptian rites dedicated to the goddess were adapted to Greco-Roman religious thought. The iconography and cult of Isis became Hellenised, and, through a comparison with Demeter's quest for Persephone (Eleusis Mysteries), the Isis Mysteries were created, organised in the form of an initiatory, progressive and secret ceremony.\n\nFaced with the rise of Christianity, the cult of Isis declined and then disappeared at the turn of the fifth and fifth centuries of our era. However, the memory of Isis did not disappear because it was maintained by monastic and university scholasticism. The reading of the hieroglyphs having been lost, her image is however biased because it is only perceived through the filter of the Greek and Latin authors of late antiquity. Towards the end of the Middle Ages, Isis became an object of curiosity for secular scholars. This phenomenon became more pronounced during the Renaissance. Many humanists included Isis in their studies by elaborating historicising mythographies about her. The myth of Isis was merged with that of the nymph Io transformed into a cow by Hera, and the appearance of Isis was confused with that of Artemis multimammia of Ephesus. During the Enlightenment, certain Freemason philosophers, enamoured of Egyptomania, turned their attention to the Mysteries of Isis and attempted to reinvent them as part of the rituals of their initiation lodges. Artists and poets, for their part, have constantly speculated on the image of the veiled goddess and made Isis the symbol of the hidden laws of Nature.\n\nSince the deciphering of hieroglyphics and the establishment of Egyptological science in the 19th century, the purely Egyptian aspects of the goddess have been rediscovered and popularised by scholars to the general public. However, the personality of Isis has not been entirely stripped of its esoteric aura, which has been developed since the 14th century by European alchemists and mystagogues. Isis thus remains the object of theological and hermetic reflections within confidential circles. Since the 1950s, especially in the United States, Isis has been particularly venerated by the Kemitist convents of Wicca, where a modern pagan cult is addressed to her as the great original, maternal and lunar goddess.","imageAlt":"3D model Egyptian - Godess Isis breastfeeding her son","url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/scanned/various/egyptian-godess-isis-breastfeeding-her-son-horus","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":false,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/LzQba2Lsv6Sk4dFvCEk5iBQR/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/GODESS_ISIS_BREASTFEEDS_HER_SON_HORUS0025.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/LzQba2Lsv6Sk4dFvCEk5iBQR/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/GODESS_ISIS_BREASTFEEDS_HER_SON_HORUS0025.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/scanned/various/egyptian-godess-isis-breastfeeding-her-son-horus","isCgtVerified":false,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":true,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":false}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":117,"name":".gltf","is_native":false},{"id":2,"name":".3ds","is_native":false},{"id":188,"name":".wrl","is_native":false},{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false},{"id":51,"name":".stl","is_native":false},{"id":189,"name":".ply","is_native":false},{"id":null,"name":null,"is_native":false},{"id":12,"name":".obj","is_native":false},{"id":7,"name":".dxf","is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"scanned","subcategorySlug":"various","categoryTitle":"Scanned 3D Models","subcategoryTitle":"Various","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/3148473/631ead074d/egyptian-godess-isis-breastfeeding-her-son-horus-3d-model-631ead074d.webp","saleOffDiscount":0,"eligibleForSubscription":false,"subscriptionSubscribed":false,"subscriptionPotential":false}},{"id":"3148458","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":3148458,"title":"Egyptian - Statue of the god Amun protecting Tutankhamun","price":99.0,"description":"The statue of Tutankhamun, protected by the god Amun, is a monumental diorite sculpture from ancient Egypt, standing 2.20 meters tall with dimensions of 0.44 meters in width and 0.78 meters in depth. Dating back to Tutankhamun's reign (1345-1327 BC), it was discovered at Karnak by French archaeologist Auguste Mariette in 1857.\n\nHistorically, Tutankhamun ascended to power at a young age of nine, inheriting a kingdom in flux due to his predecessor Akhenaten's religious reforms. Akhenaten sought to replace the traditional worship of Amun with the monotheistic worship of Aten. Tutankhamun's reign was pivotal in restoring the traditional cult of Amun, particularly in Thebes.\n\nThe statue portrays Tutankhamun adorned in a feline skin, symbolizing his role as the chief officiant in Amun's temple. Amun, depicted larger in scale as was common in ancient Egyptian art to emphasize divine power, sits in human form on a cubic seat. He wears a pleated loincloth, a corselet, and a divine beard, topped with a flat helmet adorned with tall feathers. Elaborate ornaments such as necklaces, armlets, and bracelets further embellish his attire.\n\nDuring the reign of Horemheb, who sought to erase all traces of Akhenaten's reign, the statue suffered deliberate damage. The head and top of Tutankhamun's bust were removed, and his names were chiseled out from the dorsal pillar. However, the divine elements depicting Amen and Ra were spared, as their destruction was seen as invoking divine wrath. Interestingly, a cartouche on Tutankhamun's loincloth was overlooked by the destroyers, preserving a significant historical marker despite the attempted erasure.\n\nThis statue stands as a testament to the political and religious upheavals of ancient Egypt, showcasing both the power struggles of pharaohs and the enduring influence of divine cults.","imageAlt":"Egyptian - Statue of the god Amun protecting 3D model","url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/scanned/various/egyptian-statue-of-the-god-amun-protecting-tutankhamun","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":false,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/o1G2tApUtJq6ruqw1hgCm5bZ/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/GOD_AMON_BY_TOUTANKHAMON0003.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/o1G2tApUtJq6ruqw1hgCm5bZ/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/GOD_AMON_BY_TOUTANKHAMON0003.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/scanned/various/egyptian-statue-of-the-god-amun-protecting-tutankhamun","isCgtVerified":false,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":true,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":false}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":7,"name":".dxf","is_native":false},{"id":null,"name":null,"is_native":false},{"id":12,"name":".obj","is_native":false},{"id":188,"name":".wrl","is_native":false},{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false},{"id":51,"name":".stl","is_native":false},{"id":2,"name":".3ds","is_native":false},{"id":117,"name":".gltf","is_native":false},{"id":189,"name":".ply","is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"scanned","subcategorySlug":"various","categoryTitle":"Scanned 3D Models","subcategoryTitle":"Various","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/3148458/1252b078b2/egyptian-statue-of-the-god-amun-protecting-tutankhamun-3d-model-1252b078b2.webp","saleOffDiscount":0,"eligibleForSubscription":false,"subscriptionSubscribed":false,"subscriptionPotential":false}},{"id":"3148499","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":3148499,"title":"Egyptian - goddess Hathor in her four forms","price":99.0,"description":"**Hathor in Her Four Forms – A Stunning Representation of Ancient Egyptian Divinity** \n\nThis 3D model offers an exquisite representation of the goddess **Hathor**, a prominent figure in ancient Egyptian mythology. Inventor of agriculture and religion, his reign was beneficent and civilizing. He died drowned in the Nile, assassinated in a plot organised by Set, his younger brother. Despite the dismemberment of his body, he is revived by the magical power of his sister Isis. The martyrdom of Osiris earned him the right to enter the world beyond, where he became the sovereign and supreme judge of the laws of Ma'at.\n\nIn the Middle Kingdom, the city of Abydos became the city of the god Osiris. It thus attracted many worshippers in search of eternity. The city's fame rests on its New Year's Eve festivities and on a holy relic, the head of the god.\n\nDuring the first millennium BC, Osiris retained his status as a funerary god and judge of souls. However, his aspects as god of the Nile's waters and, by the same token, as god of fertility, acquired primacy, thus increasing his popularity among the Nilotic population. Greek settlers in Memphis adopted his cult as early as the fourth century BC in its local form of Osiris-Apis, the dead and mummified sacred bull. The Lagid rulers imported this cult into their capital Alexandria in the form of Serapis, the syncretic Greek-Egyptian god. After the conquest of Egypt by the Roman forces, Osiris and Isis were exported to Rome and its empire. They remained there, with ups and downs, until the fourth century AD, when they were finally ousted by Christianity (prohibition of paganism following the Edict of Thessalonica). The Osirian cult, active since the xxth century BC, lasted until the life of our era, when the temple of Isis on the island of Philæ, the last one in Egypt, was closed around 530, a closure ordered by the emperor Justinian.\n\nThe theonym Osiris is a transliteration into the Latin alphabet of a word from ancient Greek: Ὄσιρις, which itself originates from a word in the Egyptian language: Wsjr, variably transliterated according to authors as Asar, Asari, Aser, Ausar, Ausir, Wesir, Ousir, Ousire or Ausare, the original Egyptian pronunciation not being known due to the fact that the Egyptian hieroglyphic script does not reproduce all vowels. Several Egyptologists have tried to give a meaning to the theonym Osiris. In 1980, John Gwyn Griffiths proposed that Wsjr derives from Wser and means 'the Mighty One'. Moreover, one of the oldest attestations of the god Osiris appears in the mastaba of the deceased Netjer-ouser (God-powerful). In 1987, Wolfhart Westendorf proposed the etymology Waset-jret: \"the one who carries the eye\". In 1985, David Lorton hypothesised that Wsjr is a compound word derived from the morpheme set associated with jret; set-jret meaning 'ritual activity'. Osiris would then be \"the one who benefits from ritual activity\". According to the Egyptian vision, the destructive forces are in perpetual struggle against the positive forces. In this, Set is opposed to his brother Osiris, symbol of the fertile and nourishing earth.","imageAlt":"Egyptian - God Osiris 3D","url":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/scanned/various/egyptian-god-osiris-bc87a7c7-f145-487e-849f-eb8265f4d921","isCLDApplicable":false,"isSaleOffApplicable":false,"gaAttributes":{},"primaryImage":{"gridFallbackUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/cyPYnmr3eQdGK6uvzBkdP1Zw/a26e47dab5f2d22c43d6c5ce4b4b46ecc30c70918878397cba1a10c1e35d7bfc/THE_GOD_OSIRIS0020.jpg","gridUrl":"https://media.cgtrader.com/variants/cyPYnmr3eQdGK6uvzBkdP1Zw/78add9c2f02fbd73a43ffb3970be38683c5f15eff6ca849dc78c644f4ff9ce1b/THE_GOD_OSIRIS0020.webp","isAdultContent":false},"modelInfo":{"modelUrl":"https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/scanned/various/egyptian-god-osiris-bc87a7c7-f145-487e-849f-eb8265f4d921","isCgtVerified":false,"types":{"printReady":false,"animated":false,"pbr":true,"rigged":false,"lowPoly":false}},"metaverseFormatsList":[{"id":12,"name":".obj","is_native":false},{"id":5,"name":".fbx","is_native":false},{"id":2,"name":".3ds","is_native":false},{"id":7,"name":".dxf","is_native":false},{"id":189,"name":".ply","is_native":false},{"id":51,"name":".stl","is_native":false},{"id":188,"name":".wrl","is_native":false},{"id":null,"name":null,"is_native":false},{"id":117,"name":".gltf","is_native":false}],"categorySlug":"scanned","subcategorySlug":"various","categoryTitle":"Scanned 3D Models","subcategoryTitle":"Various","schemaImageUrl":"https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/3148482/c457188ded/egyptian-god-osiris-3d-model-c457188ded.webp","saleOffDiscount":0,"eligibleForSubscription":false,"subscriptionSubscribed":false,"subscriptionPotential":false}},{"id":"2213682","type":"listingItem","attributes":{"id":2213682,"title":"EGYPTIAN - STATUE OF THE QUEEN OURET","price":99.0,"description":"Discover the majesty of ancient Egypt with this 3D figurine of Queen Ouret, \"the great,\" from the 12th Dynasty.
