Presenting the latest sensation of Diesel Shed Alambagh, Lucknow - WDP4D 40249 ‘Motibai’. A unique Red and Brown colour scheme has been introduced for this locomotive, which is dedicated to Motibai, the artillery commander of Rani Laxmibai’s army. She was originally a dancer and actress in the theatre of King Shrimant Gangadhar Rao of Jhansi, later who became a key figure in the queen’s army, a true character of steel!.
