Semovente 75 34 M 42 3D model

A high poly model for scenes and renders of one of the main self propelled guns for the Kingdom of Italy during WWII.Already UV mapped and ready to be textured in Substance painter or any other software.

The 75/34 M.42 was one of the various attemps made by the Italian army to mobilize the more powerful 75/34 cannon to the frontlines. The weak armor of the old M15/42 chassis, compared to other conterparts from different ations, coupled with its old engine made this self propelled gun only viable for long range engagements thanks to its HEAT and High Explosive rounds.

Soon replaced by more advanced projects this Semovente still remained one of the first real efforts of the Italian army to enter the mechanized warfare era, even if little too late compared to the german's more powerful SPGs of that time.
