Timber carrier T140M Industrial vehicle Freight transport

Timber carrier T140M Industrial vehicle Freight transport Low-poly 3D model

Description

Model Description: This vehicle was used to transport pallets with loads (most often boards) in factories and warehouses and woodworking factories. It has a simple structure, a chain drive, four swivel wheels, and a lifting mechanism. Produced until 2010.

Technical description: The model for the economic strategy, for the far position of the camera. The main requirements are saving polygonal mesh resources and texture size.

Mesh: 30,000 triangles. 15,000 vertes. Mesh is stitched (Connected into 1 object ). Mesh-Errors cleared out. Divided in places of animation. Triangulated. 2 materials for the whole model.

Textures: 2 sets of textures: 1) 2048x2048 - Car body. Base, normal, ORM. 2) 1024x1024 - Chain and gear trims. Base, normal, ORM. 40% textural overlaps (to save texture space). Full LP and HP and complete baking of the entire model. Complete PBR maps + complete map of AO.

Animation: Complete skeleton. Physically correct control of the steering levers. Direct and inverse kinematics. Vertex painting of deformable places.

Animated: Wheels, swing arms, longitudinal beams, cardan shafts, lifting mechanism, steering rack. The chain and gears are animated using trims.

The work took me 180 working hours.
