Tech Greebles set 1

Tech Greebles set 1 3D model

Description

Tech Greebles set 1 provides a collection of 3D shapes that can be used for designing technological oriented visuals, ideal for motion graphics, sci-fi scenery or VJ clips. The pack contains around 90 3D shapes perfectly fit for creating complex greeble scenes. The shapes are deliberately kept as low poly as possible in order to allow scenes made of 1000 ends of copy’s and keep memory usage low. The shapes are also accompanied with a multi layer shader (3ds max and Octane) that divides 4 materials with 3 masks allowing various ways to alter different elements of the shader. The shapes are also provided in OBJ and FBX exchange formats and they are accompanied with a set of standard textures for regular PBR workflows. The scene also contains some flat planes including a greeble displacement shader (only compatible with Octane render v4)

The package contains following items:

  • One 3ds max file version 2016 containing a scene arrangement of 3D shapes depicting abstract sci-fi greeble patterns, including multi layer shader + displacement shader (Octane render v4 only)
  • Part of this package is product (Tech Shapes TS2), copy following link to your browser to find detail description of it (https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/various/various-models/tech-shapes-ts2)
  • Part of this package is also product (Tech Circuits TC1), copy following link to your browser to find detail description of it (https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/various/various-models/tech-circuits-tc1)

Very interesting pack, for a non 3DS user I still get the full funcitonality of things for C4D, plus the textures and folders are labelled in a comprehensive way it all makes sense. I have to rebuild my shaders but that's fine bc I do that anyway, but if I didn't want to I can open the ORBX in stand alone and then save to local DB or copy and paste to cinema octane nodes if I were that concerned. Overall cool stuff. I can tell JSplacement was used for textures but that's fine too bc they're unique and it saves me the trouble of going in and doing the computations on those but also allows flexibility if I want additional variation I can open JSplacement myself and remap new textures. The pieces and connectors are really cool. I'm using this on a project now for a high-end keyboard motion piece so it all works out!
