Item has an elegant soft purple case cloth texture and a shiny pressed gold effect on page edges . There are two 4K texture options, one for a crisp new book look and a 'DIRTY' texture for a worn ancient tomb look. Having no writing on the covers allows general use. Beware there is no texture on two sides, the edge bottom and the edge opposite the back end. Typically these sides wouldn't show anyway as in a bookshelf.
