Fast Bool 3ds max script 3D model
FastBool is a small but very powerful tool, with its application you can easily and quickly create various interesting forms. Initially, I wanted to increase the speed of modeling, frequent transitions to the Modify tab, clicking on the modifiers you need, looking for an edit field - it really slows down the process .. Therefore, you can say that everything you need will be controlled from the script interface window. Its main direction is HardSurface. In a sense, it can probably be compared with the already well-known, very powerful tool for Blender - BoxCutter. He kind of briefly said - now let's get started!
As practice already suggests, it is best to familiarize yourself with the video tutorials that are attached below, all the tricks for working with the script are disassembled in them.

Main Geometry: Everything is simple here - the button sets the basic geometry for work. This suggests that it is with this geometry that the script will carry out the various actions that you will use.
Edit Mode: This is the quick editing mode of the selected object, in this mode you immediately go to the main object, bypassing all its modifiers. Chamfer Edge: Quickly add a Chamfer modifier to selected faces (ideally, you will be in Edit Mode)
Add Shell: Quickly add Shell modifier to basic geometry. Edit Shell: Quickly edit Shell Del Shell: Quick Shell Removal
Depth / detach
Get Depth: Set the depth of the union or subtraction on the surface (used for splines and any shape shapes) Depth: using helper depth (on / off). Detach: Detach cut geometry by subtraction into a separate object. (on / off)
Stamps and create
Set Stamp Position: Set the marker with a mouse click on the surface to set the stamp object. When you install it, you will still remain in the stamp setting mode. What are stamps? These are the objects that you intend to stamp on the surface, stamps can similarly be combined or subtracted from the general form. When all the markers you want are set, right-click (or ESC). Then you exit the stamp setting mode and all your markers become highlighted, in Local mode you can apply Scale to them for the desired size of the stamp object .. Marker size - determines the size of the stamp object! Even if something doesn’t suit you after application, you can always go back via Ctrl + Z
Stamps From Mesh / Spline: Set markers from selected geometry or spline. (markers are exposed on the vertexes). Random Z Rotation: Random rotation on the Z axis of each stamped object. Add Selected: Add selected objects to the list of stamp objects. Del.Item: Delete the selected (in the list) object from the list of stamp objects. Object List: A list of all stamp objects.
Bool Now: The main function for performing actions to subtract or combine forms. Set All Stamps: It is used after arranging all the markers for stamps, depending on the mode, it will subtract the stamp or combine it with the main geometry.
Turns on the Mirror mode (to the main object) along the X, Y, Z axes. Also, their inversion, everything is simple and clear here.
Auto Chamfer: Automatic chamfer to the main object. Always saves settings, convenient when modeling Clone Cutt: Makes a copy of your geometry (or shape) that will be subtracted or attached to the main shape. Fast Edit: The (on / off) switch allows you to quickly change the size of the chamfer of the selected object (if the chamfer is applied to it) by holding down the keys - Shift (increase) Ctrl (decrease). If there is a shape in the selection where you can change the value of the rounding of the edges, then in this case Shift and Ctrl affect this parameter.
Nearby is a field with a number, this is the number by how much the chamfer or rounding increases or decreases after one click. Do not use large numbers if you hold the keys - as values change quickly and editing becomes uncomfortable.
Union: Union mode. Remove: Subtraction mode.
