The Swiss Army knife is a multi-tool pocketknife. The term Swiss Army knife was coined by American soldiers after World War II due to the difficulty they had in pronouncing Offiziersmesser, the German name (lit. officer’s knife). The Swiss Army knife generally has a main spearpoint blade plus other blades and tools such as screwdrivers, a can opener, and many others. These are stowed inside the handle of the knife through a pivot point mechanism. The handle is traditionally a red color, with either a branding logo or, for Swiss military issue knives, the coat of arms of Switzerland. Other colors, textures, and shapes have appeared over the years.
The model is made of more than 20 segmented components. The components represent major parts of the object as can be seen in the explosion view render. The components are extracted using the SO REAL patented (pending) scanning and conversion technology. The package contains 4 resolution levels: ~50k, ~35k, ~25k, ~10k faces. Textures are available in Channel Packing, HDRP, PBR MetalRough and PBR SpecGloss formats, at resolutions 4k, 2k and 1k. Visit our twinverse at https://soreal.ch/.
