Historical description of the coin:

5 Austrian Schilling coin from 1952. Obverse (left side): Features the Austrian coat of arms with an eagle displaying spread wings, a shield on its chest, and the date 1952 at the bottom.Reverse (right side): Shows the denomination 5 in large numerals in the center, surrounded by text REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH (Republic of Austria) around the top and SCHILLING at the bottom.

This coin was part of Austria's post-WWII currency. The 5 Schilling denomination was minted in aluminum-bronze and was a common circulation coin in Austria until the country adopted the Euro in 2002.
