Potted Ficus Benjamina Trees Set Low-poly 3D model

Each tree comes with a pot. Pots are separate objects so they can be easily scaled or exchanged. Trees can be used without pots for outdoor scenes like garden or forest. Each tree with a pot contains 3854-5316 polygons (only quads and tris), or 3165-4224 polygons without a pot. 4 trees of different shape and height (70cm, 85cm, 150cm, 200cm) are included, you can reasonably scale them up or down to get more size variation. Leaves use the same texture map, but everything else including pots, tree trunk and branches have non-overlapping UVs. Each tree trunk and its branches are single mesh with good low-poly topology ("water tight" without loose mesh parts).

All trees and pots support mesh smoothing with displacement, especially useful for offline rendering. Included displacement maps also can be used in real-time rendering for parallax mapping or tessellation. All tree have simplified roots, you can adjust how deep tree is in the ground to control partial visibility of roots or hide them underground. Some dirt is painted on the roots so they blend in with soil texture (see preview image with exposed roots), but "clean" diffuse maps for trees (without darkened roots, shown on another preview image) are also included in case you want paint your own dirt to make trees blend in with soil of different color. In total 47 texture maps are provided, and 43 of them are used in the scene. Most textures are of 2048x2048 resolution, some 1024x1024. Textures for leaves plane have 256x256 resolution. Most objects have diffuse, normal, specular, displacement and occlusion maps. Leaves do not have occlusion or displacement map but have translucency map. Preview images are rendered with Cycles with mesh smoothing unless noted otherwise. Thanks to displacement maps mesh smoothing is of high quality. Leaves are not mesh smoothable because they use texture with alpha channel.

Models provided in the following native formats (render-ready):

3ds max 2013: two .max files with mental ray and iray materials. You can find in preview images how iray and mental ray materials look like. All cameras and animation to render "turntable" for each tree is included. You can adjust texture RGB curves to change hue or saturation of the leaves if necessary.

Blender 2.70: In "Joined leaves" .blend file leaves of each tree are single object grouped with a tree and its pot. In "Grouped leaves" .blend file each leaves plane is a separated object, grouped and paranted to its tree. Both files are almost identical, only difference is that in "Joined leaves" you can have slightly different hue or saturation for leaves per tree (adjustable in node editor), and in "Grouped leaves" you can have such variation per leave plane (so you can have leaves of normal green color and of yellow/red color on single tree, or all green with slight variation, also can control how many leaves are visible, etc.).

Additionally following non-native formats are available: Collada .DAE Wavefront .OBJ Autodesk .FBX 3D Studio .3DS In these non-native formats you may have to assign materials manually (when assigning diffuse map, multiply it with occlusion map when available, if supported in your software).
