Ilex Pedunculosa: Longstalk Holly Ilex Pedunculosa is a species of holly native to central China, Taiwan and Japan. It is a lanky shrub typically growing to heights of 10-20 ft. Unlike the American or European Holly, the leaves are non-spiny. Ilex Pedunculosa was first introduced to North American in 1907, thriving in partial shade and enduring cold winter temperatures.
