Notes: The Silver Linden is so called because the under side of leaves is of a light greenish color. It is the most pollution-resistant and climate-tolerant of all linden species, and widely used for urban decoration. The flowers are the most scented of all linden trees, but can be lethal for bees, therefore the Silver Linden is not used in apiculture.
