Ishtar was the Babylonian Goddess of War and Love. Maces were common weapons in many cultures and were blunt force trauma weapons that were used to crush, mangle, and bash the opposition. I really enjoyed making this, I have always felt a connection to the history of all human ancestry. The mace is printed in 5 parts and is easy to assemble. The mace head has 8 ancient alchemical symbols on the flutes of the blades, each one representing a planet in our solar system. Makes an 18 in model. (Pluto was not visible to our ancestors and is still controversial on whether or not it is considered a planet in modern times.)
