The Kucher Model K1 is a rare and unusual experimental firearm developed in the 1990s by Czech designer Jiří Kucher. The K1 features a distinctive bullpup layout combined with a revolver-style rotating cylinder, placing the cylinder and action behind the trigger to keep the weapon relatively compact while maintaining a long barrel. Chambered for powerful revolver cartridges such as .357 Magnum or .44 Magnum, the design attempted to combine the reliability of a revolver mechanism with the stability and sight radius of a carbine. The rifle also incorporated a top-mounted rail for optics and a futuristic polymer-and-metal construction. Despite its innovative concept, the Kucher K1 remained a prototype and never entered mass production, but it has attracted interest among firearms enthusiasts because of its rare configuration and unconventional engineering approach.
