Operating mode Radar:As soon as it is electronically indicated that the target is in the area of effect (firing range), the ROLAND guided missile is launched. With the help of tracking transmitter signals, the follow-up radar constantly measures its deposit from the weapon system target. The command computer uses this information to develop the necessary steering commands.Operating mode Optics:In this mode, the gunner pursues the target with his sights. If the target is in the firing range, the fight is released and the LFK is fired. The position of the LFK is determined by the optronics by means of infrared light sets attached to the LFK
