51°7’N 1°18’E are the geographical coordinates of the old English port of Dover. The chalk White Cliffs of Dover are a symbol of the English shores of the Pas de Calais strait (the Strait of Dover in the UK). The dramatically bare vertical cliffs became an inspiration for the armchair and the pouf of the 51° — 1° DOVER collection. The pouffe has a rigid frame made of natural wood veneer. Seemingly ascetic, but, in reality, very stable and comfortable with a soft seat, and if added a curved backrest it transforms into an elegant armchair.
