This is my model of a round expanding folding table or "Fletcher Capstan Table".

The idea with the table is that a small round table can be expanded into a large round table by expanding the pizza slice-shaped table parts outwards, and wedges and a middle “star” will come up from inside the table and together they form a large round table.

The model does not have the inside mechanics to make it actually work. If I in the future will take it upon myself to make a working model a few of the measurements will probably have to be changed to make it work. But as it is, it is at least quite a beautiful table, if I may say it so myself.

The a model made in SolidWorks and it is an assembly made up out of many parts.The download includes two assemblies. One of the table in its compressed form, and one in its expanded form. All the parts and the assemblies are included in SolidWorks (.sldprt and .sldasm) and also as step-files.
