Hi! I'm using my own renderer so I'm wondering if the OBJ format has a valid MTL file (material and texture description file) attached? For me to render the scene with OBJ format, I need each object to be mapped to a material in the MTL file so I don't need to spend time assigning the material and texture by myself. Thanks.

Hello I exported from the 3dsmax OBJ exporter and i can't say if it will be OK with your rendering pipeline... ;/ FBX is a better fil eformat,e i think, to import in another 3D software. Thanks
