Here is a simple explanation of what makes this model special and how it is designed:
The Overall Concept This asset is a modern mast-arm traffic signal, commonly found at wide intersections. Unlike simple post lights, this one extends out over the road to ensure drivers in all lanes can see the signal clearly.
Horizontal Signal Layout The lights are arranged horizontally (side-by-side) rather than vertically. This layout—Red on the left, Yellow in the middle, and Green on the right—is often used in areas with strong winds or height restrictions.
Galvanized Steel Structure The pole and arm feature a realistic galvanized steel texture. The mottled grey surface mimics the weather-resistant coating used on real infrastructure, differentiating it from painted metal poles.
Structural Support Details The design includes realistic engineering details, such as a curved metal brace connecting the pole to the arm and a thin tension cable running from the top. These elements show how the heavy arm is supported against gravity.
Utility Control Box At the base of the pole, there is a small grey electrical cabinet. This box typically houses the timers and wiring controls, adding a functional, grounded detail to the bottom of the model.
Files Included: FBX, GLB, OBJ, STL, ZIP (Textures). Quick Tip: The Signal Heads have individual black visors. When lighting your scene, make sure the Green light emits a bright glow that reflects slightly off the inside of its visor for a realistic night-time effect.
