Hazy Hills - Conifer Forest Environment Low-poly 3D model

Hazy Hills is a collection of game-ready assets based on temperate spruce woods of Central and Northern Europe. Plants and natural features contained within this pack were authored using traditional modeling and texturing techniques with an emphasis on creating authentic but performant game-ready assets. All foliage is based on real plant species, likely to coexist in real-world biomes this asset package is based on. Species include the Norway Spruce, Broad Buckler Fern, Purple Coltsfoot, Snowbell, European Wood Sorrel, Shield-leaved Saxifrage and a number of European grasses. No photosourcing or photogrammetry was employed in the making of this product, industry standard tools such as the Allegorithmic Substance suite were employed in order to maintain a consistent artstyle that owes itself well to being used in a range of real-time applications, especially those where maintaining artstyle using purely photoscanned assets may not be practically possible.
The package contains model files in the FBX format, models consist of nested hierarchies of sub-objects, with pivot points located at branch origins, and vertex color green painted on the leaf cards, allowing shaders to take advantage of this information to provide models with bending and wind flutter effects. Textures are supplied in the TIFF format and include all necessary PBR maps, namely- Basecolor/Albedo, Smoothness, Normal, Thickness, Ambient Occlussion and Height, Specularity and Metalness are not provided as no material in the art package makes explicit use of them, standard physically-accurate values for non-metals should be used. The package also contains fully equipped Unity packages for Unity Standard Rendering Pipeline (2017.4.3LTS+) and HD Rendering pipeline (2018.3.0+, including 2019.1.0 and above).
Unity LWRP/URP builds are not officially supported, the included foliage shaders will not function in these rendering pipelines, or Unity target builds below the versions specified, your own shaders would be necessary to make full use of this package in these rendering pipelines. 14 are spruce trees, 3 saplings, 3 small, 4 medium and 4 large trees among two distinct material types, equipped with LODs and billboards
25 are small plants, bushes, ferns, clover patches, flowers and ground plants
15 are grasses, 2 low poly grasses suitable as lods and distance meshes, 2 detail grasses, and 11 regular grass models of three distinct grass types
8 are rocks and rock splats
5 are root decal meshes with two palette swaps (mossy, mossless)
23 are dead branches, bushes, sticks, stumps, logs and other debris objects
12 ground tiles with Albedo, Normal, Smoothness, Height and Occlusion maps
The Unity 2017.4.3LTS+ and 2018.3.0+ asset packages contain:
95 Fully set up prefabs with LODs and animated materials featuring wind effects that are fully compatible with Unity Standard Pipeline in Unity 2017.4.3 and onward, and Unity High Definition Pipeline in Unity 2018.3.0 and onward, URP/LWRP Unity pipelines are not supported
1 showcase scene with all prefabs and post processing, 1 forest scene (as seen in the promotion images)
Additional effects such as particle systems (Fireflies, Fog, Dust), ambient forest sounds and camera controllers for enhanced viewing experience.
Additional Technical Information:
Tree meshes range between 800 to 10,000 tris and come with LOD levels and billboards
Other meshes range between 50 to 1600 tris, the majority of meshes have clean quad-based topology that is ready for tessellation displacement shaders using the supplied heightmaps
All large meshes come with simple mesh colliders
Textures are supplied as 16 bit TIFF images, generally between 2048 or 4096 in size and atlased for maximized efficiency
