Here is a simple explanation of what makes this model special and how it is designed:
The Overall Concept This asset is a classic American-style windmill, an icon of the rural West. Unlike European mills used for grinding grain, this machine is specifically designed to pump water from deep underground wells for livestock.
Multi-Bladed Steel Wheel The rotor (fan) is made of many small metal blades arranged in a circle. This design allows the wheel to spin easily even in very light winds, providing enough power to lift heavy water up the pipe.
Directional Tail Vane Sticking out the back is a large metal tail with a distinctive red-painted tip. This tail acts like a weather vane, automatically turning the wheel to face the wind so it can keep working without human help.
Steel Lattice Tower The heavy machinery sits on top of a tall, four-legged metal tower made of crisscrossing bars (lattice). This galvanized steel structure is lightweight but strong enough to survive storms.
Water Trough Base At the bottom of the tower, there is a cylindrical metal tank. You can see a vertical rod running down the center of the tower into this tank; this rod moves up and down to pump the water into the trough.
Files Included: FBX, GLB, OBJ, STL, ZIP (Textures). Quick Tip: To animate this accurately, you need two motions: the Wheel spinning, and the central Pump Rod moving up and down (reciprocating). This mechanical movement adds a lot of life to a quiet farm scene.
