Here is a simple explanation of what makes this model special and how it is designed:
The Overall Concept This asset is a quintessential Haussmann-style building, the iconic architecture of Paris. It is a corner block designed to sit at the intersection of two streets, making it perfect for creating realistic European city centers.
Zinc Mansard Roof The roof is a steep, grey slope made of zinc panels, known as a mansard roof. It features several small dormer windows poking out, which traditionally lit the attic rooms used by servants or students.
Cream Limestone Facade The walls are textured to look like Lutetian limestone, the warm beige stone used throughout Paris. The stonework includes horizontal grooves (rustication) on the lower floors and decorative carvings around the windows.
Wrought Iron Balconies Black metal railings line the windows. Following strict historical rules, there is a continuous balcony running along the entire second and fifth floors, while the floors in between have smaller, individual balconies.
Commercial Ground Floor The street level is designed for shops or cafes. It features dark, elegant storefront frames with large glass windows, contrasting with the pale stone above and grounding the building in a busy urban environment.
Files Included: FBX, GLB, OBJ, STL, ZIP (Textures). Quick Tip: This is a Corner Asset. Use it to connect two rows of modular street buildings at a 90-degree angle. Place warm Point Lights inside the ground floor windows to create a cozy inviting cafe vibe at night.
