Brasov is a city in Romania surrounded by the Carpathian Mountains. It is located in Transylvania and is known for its medieval Saxon walls and bastions, the gothic Black Church and lively cafes. City Council Square in the cobbled Old Town is surrounded by colorful baroque buildings. One of them is the town hall, where the historical museum is now located.
