Super cool! I love all that detail! By the way, question about the texture; how did u get such fantastically dusty textures? What kinds of shaders and stuff were u using? I'd love to know; I make a models of old machines myself.

Hi . thanks . I used substance painter to paint these detailed textures . A very powerful and easy to work software . For must of the models I prefer to use pbr metallic/roughness system and after creating the textures in pbr metallic roughness I export a Vray compatible version for vray users too and a unity compatible version for lowpoly version of models for unity engine users . I will put a video from the texturing process of this model in my youtube channel during next 72 hours you can find other videos and tutorials there .

Neatness! On the topic of PBR, do you draw the maps yourself? I've always wanted to use pbrs in my work but I figured that I can't sell them if I don't have the permission of the guy who created the texture to begin with. But at the same time, I see a lot of people selling work with pbrs engrained. I'd be okay making my own, but it seems like kind of a daunting task, you know?

it is not as daunting as you think . I suggest you to work with substance softwares . by substance designer you can create pbr procedural materials , by painter you can paint your own maps on your mesh using it's library or materials you created in designer and by substance alchemist you can combine two or more materials to create new ones

excellent model ! it is causing strange emotions as this is being used as the villain in a short movie... although it has a lot of details that require further texturing. cheers from Rio
