Description
his is a recreation of a Napoleonic French Old Guard Soldier clothing. Based off the Waterloo Campaign at the end of the Napoleonic Wars where Napoleon fought Britain, Prussia and Allies.
It includes a full torso clothing, pants, and equipment. No Bearskin Hat, Epaulettes or 3D-Character itself included. (Bearskin and Epaulettes will be uploaded separately) The Character is posed in a V-Pose but is easily riggable using tools like mixamo with only the backpack and pouch needing some adjustments. The Character was textured in 2K in Substance Painter and modelled in 3DS-Max + Marvelous Designer. There are some historical inaccuracies due to the sources being very vague about some details regarding the equipment. However I did my best as a first try to recreate it as faithful as possible to the sources I found.
The topology should be fine for general usage. It is however not perfectly optimized.
