Rolls-Royce Phantom II has become a landmark model for the company. In the midst of the global economic crisis, which began with the collapse of Wall Street, Rolls-Royce managed not only to stand in the market for expensive and prestigious cars, having outlived many of its competitors in Europe and America, but also to gain control over its rival in the UK - Bentley, largely due to the well-selling Phantom II. In addition, the Phantom II was the latest Rolls-Royce model developed with the participation of Sir Henry Royce, who died in 1933.

For the entire production time, from 1929 to 1935, 1,672 copies of Rolls-Rolls Phantom II were produced, including from 1932 to 1935, 278 copies of Continental modifications.
