DESCRIPTION

The 3D model of the Temple of the Golden Mount (Wat Saket) was created to represent one of Bangkok’s most iconic and historically significant temples. The project emphasizes the unique architectural composition of the temple, built on an artificial hill with the gleaming golden chedi as its central landmark — symbolizing spiritual elevation and serenity above the city.

The modeling process began with architectural research and data collection, including photographs, aerial references, and topographic studies, to accurately capture the temple’s proportions and surroundings. The base terrain and structure were modeled using SketchUp (or specify: Blender / 3ds Max / Revit), starting from the sloped base of the mount up to the circular platform supporting the main chedi.

This 3D model can be used for architectural visualization, cultural heritage preservation, tourism promotion, or educational purposes, offering a digital representation of one of Bangkok’s most revered landmarks.
