Here is a simple explanation of what makes this model special and how it is designed:
The Overall Concept This isn't just a pile of rocks; it is a storytelling piece. We designed it as a slice of a residential building that has been hit by an explosion or an earthquake. It is perfect for war games, post-apocalyptic cities, or disaster scenes where you need to show the aftermath of destruction.
The Dollhouse Cutaway The unique feature here is the cross-section view. The outer walls have been sheared off, exposing the interior rooms like a tragic dollhouse. This allows players to see the layers of the building, from the wallpaper to the brick structure underneath.
A Frozen Moment On the upper floor, we added a haunting detail: a dining table that is still set with plates and a tablecloth. It suggests that life was normal just seconds before the disaster struck, adding a heavy emotional weight to the environment.
Realistic Rubble Pile The ground floor is buried under a massive pile of collapsed concrete and debris. We modeled individual chunks of stone and broken slabs rather than a flat texture, giving the collapse a sense of weight and physical volume.
Scavenged Belongings Mixed in with the wreckage at the bottom, you can see abandoned personal items like old CRT televisions and cabinets. These distinct shapes break up the noise of the concrete and ground the scene in a specific time period.
Files Included: FBX, GLB, OBJ, STL, ZIP (Textures). Quick Tip: Since this asset exposes the interior, use a Vertex Paint shader to blend dirt or soot into the corners of the room walls. This will make the exposed interiors look properly weathered and exposed to the elements.
