Mosaic 3D Patterns 2 3D model

46 geometrically accurate 3D pattern models, splines and renders plus 1 bonus highly decorative 3D pattern. These patterns have been textured with a simple wood grain material for demonstration here though a material library is included for quick changes to other styles. Each texture is mapped so that the edges are slightly darker than the top face for a quality appearance. Each pattern is comprised of individual pieces allowing for full customization.

These patterns were derived from extensive research into the architectural style of the persian empire and can be found incorporated into architectural works throughout the middle east where mosaic work has been practiced for centuries. See also my 3D pattern Set #2 here as well.

Great for tile walls, floors, roofing, walkways etc. The number of things that can be done with these patterns is endless. Also great for DIY projects! I've even used the spline printouts as Henna style coloring pages for my family members :)

MAX Zip file contains all 3D models in Max ver 7 format. Each model includes the pattern mesh extruded and beveled in 3D, a 2D mesh of the pattern and the spline of the pattern. For a total of 148 3D Patterns (plus 1 especially decorative pattern).

Tiles Zip file contains JPG render images of each pattern. 1 overhead orthographic image and 1 perspective image of each for easy referencing. For a total of 296 images. Each image is 1000x1000 and 640x480 respectively.

Splines Zip file contains JPG spline images of each pattern. 1 single pattern image and 1 tiles pattern image of each pattern. For a total of 296 images. Each image is 2550x3300 printing to 8.5x11 at 350 DPI.

Materials Zip file contains 1 reflection map, 1 wood-grain texture and a material library. Material library allows for quick textureing in multiple styles.
