OverviewA highly detailed, architecturally inspired Vedic Temple (Ayodhya Temple) designed for epic scale and mythical storytelling. This model captures the intricate, heavy stone aesthetic of ancient Indian architecture, featuring complex carvings and traditional tiered structures. It is ideal for environment concept art, matte painting, and cinematic background scenery.
Modular StructureThe temple is organized into 4 primary sections for easier management and editing:
Base: The heavy foundation and steps of the structure.
Pillars: Ornate supports featuring complex radial symmetry.
Slabs: Transitional structural elements and flooring.
Rooftop: The iconic tiered Shikhara style top mesh design.
Technical SpecificationsWorkflow: Created using Radial Symmetry to ensure authentic architectural patterns.
Optimization: The mesh was cut in half and processed with a Mirror Modifier to maximize UV texel density and reduce memory overhead.
Performance: Optimized to operate smoothly in Object Mode even on low-end hardware. (Note: High-density pillar meshes may experience lag in Edit Mode).
Texturing: 4K UDIM Workflow (Spread across 4 Tiles) for high-resolution detail even in close-range renders.
Unwrapping: Smart UV Project and manual packing used for a 4-tile UDIM layout.
Important User Note (Artist-to-Artist)This model is intended as a Concept/Environment Asset rather than a Plug-and-Play game-ready interior. Please review the following before purchasing:
Baking & UVs: To maximize texture resolution and optimization, UVs and geometry are overlapped in certain areas.
Artifacts: Some faces exhibit minor baking artifacts (gradients/splotches). These are easily fixed by an artist by deleting the affected faces and refilling the area and some parts at back side are missaligned .
Geometry: Due to the symmetry and optimization process, some pillars may have small holes or gaps. These are not noticeable from a distance but may require minor adjustments for first-person camera close-ups.
Character Placement: Best suited for exterior environment shots. If used for character-walking interiors, some mesh cleanup will be necessary.
