Prefectural natural treasure of Japan, Tosakin, IMO is the most beautiful goldfish with its glorious caudal (tail) fin.Unlike other goldfish breed, its caudal fin curls and wraps around its body forming a dress like shape. Its special fin shape makes Tosakin a bad swimmer, thus hard to raise and take care of. Tosakin nearly went extinct with only 6 specimens left during the World Wars. Tosakin of Kouchi is known as one of the 3 major prefectural goldfish of Japan, along with Jikin of Aichi and Nankin of Shimane.
