Description

The Piper PA-28 Cherokee Turbo Arrow is a low wing single-engine piston driven propeller complex aircraft designed for family, personal transport, air taxi and training aircraft. It was originally developed in 1960 and remained in production until 2009.

The competition for the Piper Cherokee Arrow was the Cessna 172RG and Grumman AA-5 series, Beechcraft Musketeer and Cessna 177RG Cardinal. The Cherokee Arrows ranged in power from 200 to 300 horse power providing turbo charging on some models. The series also had retractable landing gear and constant speed prop. The Cherokee Arrows had retractable landing gear and were popular airplanes.

This model is near to scale. It was built within a few inches of actual general dimensions. It has animatable ailerons, flaps, stabulator, rudder and propeller. The cockpit includes a fairly detailed instrument panel with some of the controls and instruments. It also has 4 seats in the cabin. The landing gear can be retracted or extended for animation.

This model is fully textured and includes all textures and materials as shown. It is available here in 12 formats and 20 different paint schemes. It is also available in bare metal if you wish to do your own scheme.
