Description

This is a model of a hover bike with 2 impeller engines of 2 rotors each. The model is scaled for an average humanoid type model about 160-190 cm tall.

The hoverbike comes with a fuel tank, 12 V battery, all necessary cables and luggage boxes on each side, ignition key, head lights and bulbs in the headlights, 3 cylinder engines and a short 150 frames demo animation. Just load the scene and play it.

The main idea was to make it convenient and interesting for all kind of animation including POV. For example, the pilot can see instruments, the handle bar and the rotating front rotor.

All objects in the scene are correctly linked and are linked to the main object, the hoverbike itself. Objects in the scene do not support additional subdivision (turbosmooth or meshsmooth).

The objects are organised in layers.

The model is logical from an engineering point of view with its own flight control system that is to our knowledge different from any existing flying vehicles.

The fuel tank is openable and not animated.

The luggage boxes are openable and animated.

The native model format is 3DS Max 2019. We also included a 3DS Max 2016 scene and an FBX file. As you can see on one of preview images the model was successfully imported into Unity and tested.

Please put all files into the same folder. Depending on the application and the file format you may need to reassign textures used in materials.
