DG-400 17-Metre Sailplane Bare Metal

DG-400 17-Metre Sailplane Bare Metal 3D model

Description

This model is built near to scale, is fully textured and includes a nicely detailed cockpit. The engine and pylon are not modeled. The landing gear is retractable and the control surfaces are animateable. The model comes in many different formats along with all the textures and materials.

Developed from the DG-200 variant with a carbon fiber wing, the retractable engine allowed the aircraft to self-launch and still perform very well.

The DG-400 used most of the systems of the DG-202 but has a slightly larger fuselage and tail cone to allow space for the retractable engine and prop. The engine had an electric starter and electric retraction.

This model was built to drawings I found on the internet. If we find additional more accurate resources for any aircraft we do updates. Send us pictures and drawings and we will do our best to make the model more realistic.
