Curtiss Condor V01 3D model

This model has a lot of exterior detail including two fairly detailed radial engines. The model is built very near to scale and fully textured. Infant airlines in the US needed a larger transport to provide passengers with safer more comfortable travel and Curtiss designed and developed the Curtiss T-32 Condor. It was a truly passenger carrying purpose built airliner. It was also the first airliner built with sleepers in the cabin for passengers. It was a common site in the early 1930s. It replaced older modified biplanes and was replaced by the first modern all metal airliner designed the Douglas DC-2.
