Cessna 210 Centurion Bare Metal

Cessna 210 Centurion Bare Metal 3D model

Description

Medium resolution and accurate 3d model created near to scale (within 5%) according to the real reference. Native format is 3ds Max version 13. Model was exported to a wide variety of formats including 3ds, asc, dae, dwg, dxf, lwo, obj, and u3d. Other formats are exported in one resolution. This can be further subdivided. Exported formats (3ds, lwo and obj) are prepared well to work correctly with every standard modeling software. Compatibility level with other software’s may be limited. Textures are included with all files. It comes with a detailed cockpit, cabin seating (viewable from the exterior) and animated propellers. Flaps, ailerons, rudder, elevators, landing gear and landing gear doors are animatable. Only native 3ds Max version has animated features. Previews were rendered using 3dsmax standard scanline. Model unit is variable depending on the model and references. Using lwo file for import is strongly recommended, because it preserves basic material properties, objects hierarchy, uvw coordinates and geometry. 3ds format preserves basic material properties, hierarchy and uvw coordinates, but all geometry is triangular. Max format includes hierarchy, quad geometry, Turbosmooth and standard materials. OBJ format preserves only quad geometry and uvw coordinates.

This model was built for animation and video uses and not designed or built for the uses he wanted. Nor was it a format that he could use in Solid Works. I discussed this with the customer in writing and also suggested to CG Trader that he receive a refund. The customer making the negative comment had promised to remove the negative comment when he got his refund. The model is a very nice model and if your working in max, light wave or something of that nature it has always performed as advertised.

These models were terrible. None of the formats could be imported into SolidWorks 2018 correctly. There were no useful measurement data even in the broken imports (partial recovery but problems resolving faces, features, etc) for me to use so this was ONE HUGE WASTE OF MONEY.
