Airbus A380-800 - Air France - Animated High Poly 3D model

Overview:

Animated Airbus A380-800 airliner exterior with present Air France livery (2025). This is a AAA render ready pinpointed reproduction using blueprints, parts from CATIA V5, photographs and vector graphics.

Mesh:

The high poly mesh is flawless and clean, has complete and closed elements, no one-sided pseudo high poly objects, has similar mesh density on fuselage belly, top and sides and is made in real world scale meters in quad-polygons. Complete model has a poly count of 2067387 polys. Some hidden spots may have multipolys or triangles. Wings and gears have simple reproduced hydraulics.

UV & Textures:

Unwrapped UVs are non-overlapping, UV layouts: Fuselage, wings, engine left, engine right, wheels, gears, lights. Included are 18 x high quality textures in resolutions 4096 x 4096 px for fuselage, wings, engines, and smaller sized textures for gears and wheels without a cut in texture quality.

Animations:

Animated devices are engines, gear doors, gears, wheels, rudders, elevators, animable devices are spoilers, ailerons, flaps, speedbrakes. Inclued is a special rig for the animable devices with prepositions for several scenarios out of the box. Included are 14 x animations such as rolling and accelerating, rolling and breaking, rolling and take-off, landing and rolling, flying. All engine animations are linear looped. The timeline is setuped at 30 fps for all animations.

Elaboration:

This model contains exterior only however with properly predefined inner sections that can be elaborated for interior creation. Gear stowage itself is simple built but can be elaborated if needed. Model is made and animated in native 3ds Max 2022. The downloadable attachment includes 14 x FBX and native 3ds Max (2022) files, 18 x textures in 8 Bit .PNG.

Final Note:

The FBX exporter has often issues with exporting propper vertex and edge normals when dealing with animations of high complexity. Due to a high complexity of the gear doors animations just be aware and use the native 3ds Max files if you experience issues with a provided FBX file or re-export your own FBX file.
