-1 a top mounted camera, records the color of the sky.-2 a bottom mounted [or lowered when needed when hoovering for observing while camouflaged] laser projector, projects the live sky onto the bottom of the drone.-3 a ground based observer, will only ever see the sky, as if the entire drone or object, optically appeared to be fully translucent.

if you want to be funny, you could add a video layer of light, that depicts a portal opening and closing, projected onto the drone, but aparently or optically it will appear to be mid air. using the drone as a canvas to paint on.

Optical Digital Camouflage - Concept.

Have a simple front camera project its image on the back of the persons thin LCD skin suit, and have a back camera, filming the background, project its image on the front of the LCD skin suit. Now it will appear as if looking through a translucent, digitally camouflaged person.Perfect digital and optical camouflage, literally seeing through them and their suit. We already have very flat and small camera's, it does not have to be of the highest of resolutions even, for when observing it at a slight distance.

Works nicely for vehicles with larger surfaces as well. Record one side of a train, project it onto the other side of the train. Record one side of a plane, project it onto the other side of the plane. Optically translucent vehicles. Top Down = Anti Sat.If a tank can record the ground downward in front of it in the light, then projecting the ground image inverted because upwards up from the tank, onto a top covering square projector screen, all will appear invisible from space.
